Trentham Brass is a 4th section band based in Staffordshire, whose aim is to advance the education of its players and the public in the art of brass band music.

It is active in the local community with the presentation of concerts, recitals and contests under the direction of Mike Caveney.

The band's players consist of a wide range of ages and abilities, including 3 current members of the National Youth Brass Band.

The band have recently celebrated success in 2009 by coming 3rd at the Rolls Royce Derby Contest and putting in sterling performances in the 2009 Midlands Regional Championships held in Bedworth, Warwickshire, and at the Buxton contest in May.

A big "Congratulations" to the basses who were awarded BEST BASS SECTION in the Derby contest.
